Yo, >> hey, Freaky Friday from last week.
Now I'm the coach. I got the coach hat on.
We're going to be diving into Aaron's beautiful brain here that's surrounded by this halo of hair.
>> Yes, teased. >> Can always find her in the crowd, folks.
Uh but we're going to be uh sharing a little bit more from a demonstration standpoint on how we're integrating temperaments coaching.
And mindset coaching.
Uh with our name, claim, tame, and aim process.
So, if you've gone through a certification,.
This is all going to sound very familiar, but you're going to uh gain some insights on how you can start using.
Our become workbook and and doing some additional coaching alongside.
Uh with your clients alongside that program.
And uh other than that, >> stick around so you can hear all of my.
Silly thoughts, >> all her stuff, folks.
All right, see you in there.
Hey folks, welcome back to the Catholic Coaching Podcast.
My name is Matt >> and I'm Aaron >> and we are going to be your Catholic coaches for the next 30.
To 45 minutes here.
Continuing on talking about temperaments and mindset coaching, fusing those things together.
It's been a process that we've been really perfecting over the last 5 years, sharing the for the first time here on.
The podcast. Last week, Erin, you coached me.
>> Uh, and we were drawing some insights on my caleric temperament where I was going in some overuse and those things.
Were getting in in the way of my goal, but we came to some really practical mindset hacks that I've been using.
And it's feels pretty awesome since then.
So, great job, coach.
>> You're welcome. Thanks. >> We're doing a freaky Friday here and we're just switching.
So, I'm going to be the coach now uh in this episode and I'm going be taking Aaron through this process and.
You you'll get an idea of there's there's a formula to this process.
Uh for merging temperaments and mindset coaching,.
But there's but there's also a fluidity.
That's here. Okay, we teach our coaches in our certification program to really operate in that fluid space, right?
We have a process called the reason cycle, which is really just helping people to to make sure that they're not governed.
By their emotions, but they're governed by sound reason.
And it cleans up their interior life knowing that it's not just changing behaviors, it's changing our thoughts and our emotional life.
That really leads to lasting change.
>> Yeah. And remember,.
Um there's a couple different ways that we can live in our temperaments.
And we can live in our temperaments virtuously or viciously,.
>> right? And really what we're trying to uncover today is a vice of mine.
Um as a sanguin that is probably.
Consistent among other sanguins, but it probably shows up in a different way for me.
And.
At the root of that vice is a belief pattern is a series of beliefs.
And so as a mindset coach, Matt's going to.
We're going to use this program.
>> That's our become program that we have.
So people that go through our identity and purpose coach training, but also our certification, they get access to that.
>> Yes. We're going to use that to uncover the language.
And help me identify, okay, yeah, this is advice that I've been living in a lot lately.
And and then Matt's going to use some of the mindset coaching.
That we train our mindset coaches and our certified coaches.
To do to capture the thought to identify the belief that's actually kind of going rogue and is not aligned with with.
Truth.
And is really leading to that vice pattern.
>> Yeah. Place of fear. >> Yep.
Usually also like Yeah. Coming from a place of fear.
So, he's going to help me uncover what that is.
That's it. >> Yeah. Ready to rock.
>> And I am sanguin.
So, from my list,.
I have very specific.
Types of vices that I tend to fall into.
>> Yeah. So, like we said last episode, if you're one of our certified mindset coaches that is or and you're using.
This become program, maybe you're taking people through it, this is a way that you can coach people one-on-one on the side.
Using this formula. Okay. So real high quick uh quick highle review of this what this process looks like.
Traditionally with any sort of assessment coaching.
There's a naming claiming and aiming process.
We get the language from naming claiming we see where it's actually there's evidence for uh that uh insight in our life.
And then aiming it's like okay how do we use the gifts and talents that we've uncovered through this naming and claiming.
Process and and aim them and direct them towards you know making an impact in other people's lives.
But like Aaron said, these habits that we're uncovering here through these assessments, specifically here, temperaments,.
They can go vicious or virtuous.
So, we need to ha to make sure that we're fueling these habits with virtuous love.
Yeah. >> Uh and the word of God rather than uh fear, right?
When it goes fear, we get rotten fruits.
Okay. So, we're going to talk about some of Aaron's rotten fruits here.
So, it's a naming, claiming, taming,.
And aiming process.
>> I'm not scared.
I am scared. Let's do this.
I'm not afraid. All right, >> let's tackle this.
>> Okay, so we're going to start as we start all things.
As a coach with a goal.
Erin, what's the goal that you're working on?
>> I am working on.
Getting into.
Ketosis.
>> So, it's more of a health-based.
Personal goal.
Um, lot of reasons why.
I just.
>> I'm realizing.
The need for it.
>> more in my life.
I have a health condition that will only get worse if I don't actually intentionally.
Like make this more of a lifestyle.
The the ke like being in keto ketosis.
>> Okay. So, you've tried to to do the the habits that the other coaches are saying to do to get into.
>> and then what there's what's what's the problem?
I would say there's.
There's a number of problems, but the one that kind of I have a more recent.
Example of would be um being inconsistent.
>> Okay. All right. So, if you looked at even our weakness chart that we've got here in our become book is.
Is there.
Inconsistent? What what's what's the overuse pattern here or the weakness here that we're working on?
>> Sorry, what is what do you mean overuse?
So the the weakness that is coming up as part of you know disrupting you doing the habits doing the actions that.
Are going to get you into ketosis.
>> You said incon inconsistency.
Or incon.
>> being inconsistent.
So the actual definition on here it says has trouble sticking to routines or finishing projects.
Okay. So it's like really sticking to.
>> what I've said.
I would do. >> Okay. And it usually comes out, the recent event was like it comes out late at night or.
Not late at night but like in the evening.
When I've had like a full day.
Um,.
And I really just.
Want to rest and not have like another thing to think about.
So,.
In this case, last night was my recent event.
My schedule was kind of thrown off a little bit because I worked out a little bit later and you know, all.
This stuff.
>> and I just notice this.
Like.
I don't even care like what I'm doing anymore.
I'm just going to do what I want to do and and I I still pick like safe.
Food.
>>.
Okay. >> Right. But it's not like.
Really sticking to >> but it's not going to help towards the goal of ketosis.
Correct. Oh yeah. Yeah. It won't.
So it's like.
Yeah. So.
Last night I was just kind of like.
I am just going to do.
Strawberries and peanut butter and chocolate.
>> Okay. Okay. >> If you want specifics.
>> All right. So So just kind of leaning into that we have inconstency.
Specifically, it's showing up with I'm I've made a commitment to eat a certain way.
There's certain foods and certain times of eating that I abide by in order to get into that ketosis goal.
>> And last night, you chose to eat things that weren't necessarily on.
Align with that ketosis goal, and you ate at a time that wasn't really aligned with that ketosis goal.
Yes. >> Okay. All right. What was the good that you were seeking with that?
I feel like I was seeking because I did a little bit of work on this this morning, so it was a.
Little bit helpful, especially with last night.
Feel like what I was seeking was.
Um.
Uh.
Comfort.
>> Comfort. Okay.
>> Stability a little bit. >> Stability.
Yeah, tell me more. >> Cuz yesterday was.
Literally a backto back backto back backtoback day.
It was just like boom boom boom boom meeting after meeting after meeting after meeting and then like this and then this.
And it was just.
I didn't.
Feel like I had a break.
And I felt like.
Finally.
I have a break. >> Finally I have a break.
Yeah. >> Okay. And what is that break?
What's that break? If that break was protecting something, what might that be?
M.
Energy.
Focus.
Focus is a big one. That one comes up a lot.
>> Tell me why focus is important to protect.
>> because I have very little of it.
>> Interesting thought we just captured there.
Okay. >> Yes. Um, I do I feel like.
It's kind of a.
Rare commodity.
In my mind and and it I'm a little bit fearful because.
Because it is rare.
Or believing it's rare.
I.
Really am like graspy with it like focus.
And I would also say just like effort like yesterday.
It wasn't full of the things that give me life.
It was just very much like.
I have to I have to I have to I have to I have to the whole time.
That that was another piece of it.
I don't know. I'm kind of all over the place.
But >> I want to go back to the focus cuz like you shared how focus there's just kind of a it's.
There's a limited commodity. I want to protect it.
In context of your goal, how is the focus something of of getting into ketosis here?
How's the focus help?
>> Um, it doesn't.
It here's what here's what was happening.
It's not the focus. It's more so the energy that goes into keeping focus on things that drain me.
Okay, >> does that make sense?
So, I would say it was more so protecting the energy.
That I that I noticed was being depleted.
By doing things that required focus that I knew.
Took a lot of energy. >>.
Okay, >> that does that make sense?
So, it was more so like >> so we're protecting there's a fear of losing the energy.
>> Okay. All right. So I think >> feeling tired.
>> Okay. Feeling tired mentally tired.
>> Okay. And what's the problem with being at the end of the day and feeling mentally tired?
>> There isn't a problem. >> Okay.
In the context of your goal here though.
>> Yeah. Um.
Cuz I do think.
It requires.
A little bit of extra.
A little bit of extra mental.
Energy. Not a ton, but a little bit more focus.
That.
That you know not living like living in my normal behavior.
Like my my normal habits.
Doesn't require you know that's why your brains kind of create habits like.
And then once it starts to create a habit once it's not.
Then it becomes easier to do it.
But like because I'm still kind of at the beginning of this habit and like trying to develop it, it does.
Require more.
And at the end of the day, the end of the day has always been.
A harder part point for me because it's like kind of where my restlessness comes out.
Okay. >> And I feel a lot of emotions.
And I want to eat.
>> Okay. So, this new habit requires more energy.
>> Yes. Yes. >> Okay. Okay.
>> And >> mental energy. >> Okay.
More mental energy with it. Okay.
>> So, this new habit requires more mental energy.
>> And uh if you So, at the end of the day, was I'm curious.
Was that what was going on in your mind at the end of the day when you chose to.
To break ketosis?
>> I think so. Like there was almost like this like.
Rebellion where it was just like.
I don't want to exert more energy.
I'm done. >> I don't want to exert more energy.
>> Yeah. I am done. >> All right.
I'm done. I'm done. I've heard you say those exact words.
>> I've said them out loud.
>> I'm done. I'm just like >>.
Goodbye. >> All right. So I I don't want to exert more energy.
I'm done. >> All right. I want to take that one captive here.
Okay. >> Uh I'm curious. But before and I'm just going to write that down.
Done.
I don't want to take more energy.
>> Exert more energy >> to exert.
More.
Okay. All right. Before we go forward here, I want to just kind of pause, set that thought to the side here.
I want to lean in. You you mentioned up front that weakness of inconsistency or inconsistency.
>> I'm curious. Okay. Because often the way that these weaknesses show is there a shadow side or a overuse pattern of.
A of a strength. If you were even to flip over to the contribution section of our workbook.
Okay. >> What what do you think that that that.
Inconsistency.
Might be the shadow side? What contribution might be an overuse.
Or underuse?
Um, the first one I see, but there's actually a couple of them,.
>> um, is spontaneous.
So, loves to be impulsive and try new and innovative things and kind of go with the flow.
>> Okay. So, that's more of an overuse that's there.
>> Mhm. Spontaneous.
Cuz it's just kind of like.
H like I don't have the energy to be consistent.
Again.
>> Okay. just like really funny because here's another funny thing.
Consistency.
Shows up with.
The habits of eating like there that is consistency.
Okay. >> So like if I if consistency is the enemy.
Um I'm being very consistent with my old habits.
Okay. >> Which is like funny.
I would say spontaneous.
Then.
Kind of like.
I don't really like this word but it's adventurous.
>> It's like loves trying new things and exploring.
>> maybe more so like.
Freedom pursuing.
>> Yeah. I mean in some ways I think the adventurous is an underuse.
>> because you're just going to what you know.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. Yes.
>> So, it seems like there might even be an underuse in adventure.
Okay. I'm wondering if there's anything else on there, Erin, that's that might be an underuse.
>> creativity, probably. Yeah. >> All right.
How How about this?
You're you're I know that you're high encouraging.
Even in your charism.
Assessments, you're a high encourager.
>> I'm wondering if your encourager is is an underuse here.
>> What do you mean? >> Okay.
So, your encourager shows up.
When people need to get in motion doing things.
I mean, you're a coach and you coach other coaches and one of the things you're always doing with your high activators,.
You're getting people to do the actions that they need to do to get their goals.
>> You're encouraging that way.
>> But I'm wondering if you're encourager in this moment where you feel tempted to just backslide into the old habits.
>> is is silent. >> Sure.
Yeah. >> Okay. Sure. I don't know if that's that's just a thought that I had.
Okay. >> Yeah. So we have overuse spontaneity, underuse on the adventure adventurous side,.
Maybe underuse on the encourager side.
Yep. >> Okay. Okay. It's good to identify those things because when we when we get to kind of I I I.
Do want to at some point we'll pivot back to them and how we can how they can show up um and.
We can invite them into the situation a little bit more.
Okay. >>.
Okay. >> All right. So let's go back to this thought here.
I've done I'm done. I don't want to exert more energy.
How does that feel?
One word emotion. >> Oh, um,.
Exhausted.
Like I feel exhausted. >> Exhausted.
Okay. And from that place of exhaustion we already shared, we just.
Go into go to our old habits.
We eat foods that are >>.
Yeah. >> that are quote safe.
Maybe they're low carb or >> like I comfort myself.
>> Okay. I comfort myself with foods that are not on my list and eating at times that are not on my.
List. >>.
Yep. >> Okay. follow the trajectory of this.
Ultimately, where would this lead.
Regard to your goal? Are you ever going to hit ketosis?
>> No. >>.
Okay. >> All right. How does that feel?
>> It's annoying. >> It's annoying.
>> I hate it. >> Okay.
Hate it. Okay.
I'm curious here if we can even so like even just looking in.
At like what's in your control in this situation.
>> Okay. Actually, I'm going to pause.
Okay.
>> Cuz I love this question.
If we were to stay on this trajectory,.
>> all right, maybe six months from now, this habit continued the way it was.
What's the total cost.
Of sticking with this mindset? I'm done.
Yeah, >> I exert more energy and then you pretty much you you break your your keto fast or your keto habit.
>> Um, what's what is that?
What does my life look like?
Like what what.
6 months from now,.
What's the cost of that? What's it cost?
Um, well,.
The funny thing is I'd be like, I'm done with this, you know, I'm done with this type of thinking.
I I would not.
Like it.
Um at all emotionally.
I would be very resistant, very.
I'd have a lot of aversion.
To my.
My habit of doing this.
>> I'd be annoyed.
The cost of it would be.
Yeah I mean ultimately it's not like.
My condition is getting any better.
It would probably.
Add to it physiological.
Um stuff like inflammation. More inflammation.
Okay. >> Um more.
Just.
Yeah more issues.
>> More issues. What might some of those issues be.
>> physically, emotionally?
Like what do you think? >> Tell me tell let's just stick with physical.
Okay. >> Like health concerns that you would go to a doctor for.
>> Yeah. So I would have.
Um increased.
Insulin.
For and like I'm already kind of living in that space right now.
Well, not right now cuz I'm.
Holding it together I think. But.
Um that doesn't feel good.
Having that increased insulin like you have like like I said high inflammation,.
Not great sleep.
Um there's.
Energy, low energy. >>.
Um uh fat storage.
So you're like you don't release fat like other people do.
It takes weight on >> a lot.
You you either put weight on or you stabilize, but there's no fat releasing.
There's nothing that's.
Out and you're not losing water weight either.
>> I wonder if diabetes is something that's on there.
>> Yes, diabetes is a >> real chronic health issue >> is the.
The end result of insulin resistance.
So, >> okay. >> Yeah. >>.
Okay. >> Yeah, that would be the cost.
>> All right.
I want you.
Let's let's pause with that. You now you're a diabetic.
Okay. >> What's that? What's your eating situation look like?
I mean, you already talked about I have to.
I mean, now you have a doctor telling you you have to change.
Because there's real consequences to not doing this.
Yeah. >> How does that feel?
>> Oh, I don't like it.
Yeah. >> Yeah. I know how much you love freedom.
>> Yeah. I mean like the thing is like I this keto.
Keto diet like in some ways it's in it's it's even guarding.
Your spontaneity.
Like a diabetic cannot go off of their diet.
>> Yes. Sure. True. >> Somebody that's in ketosis and has like a healthy balanced diet, >> they can spontaneously.
Every once in a while.
Yeah. >> indulge in something that's that's off the diet.
And here's another thing too,.
Creatively,.
Like I actually like flexing my creative muscle.
And finding.
Things that.
Kind of lay within.
The guidelines of ketosis.
>> So, I really like leaning into my creativity and being like, "Okay,.
Love.
Cake.
How do I make a carnivore.
Keto ketoore.
Like a combination.
Ketogenic and then carnivore?
A ketoore cake.
That would fall in that.
Realm. Like I've always liked that that show Chopped.
Remember that show? And it' be like you only have these three stupid things in your pantry.
Yeah. >> And then you have to make some gourmet meal.
Like I do like that because it's like within these realms within this realm.
>> It's almost like a focused way of like.
Of of giving my ideation.
Just like.
Full freedom. >> Yeah. Like a swim lane.
>> Yes. To figure something out.
>> A lot of freedom in that swim lane.
>> Yeah. So that gets me excited to think about like,.
Okay,.
Look, there's you have a lot more freedom in this space right now.
So how do we get creative with this?
Okay, >> it's a way better question.
>> How does that feel? I have a lot more freedom in this space.
>> than I would with diabetes.
Um diabetes. Yeah. >> Yeah. It it's.
It's actually like.
So much better.
A lot more freedom.
Yeah. Where you at right now?
>> Um I feel.
I'm I'm like trying to compare it to what I was feeling before.
What was the thought I was I was thinking before?
>> I'm done. >> I'm done.
Oh yeah. >> I don't want to exert the more energy.
>> Yeah. >> Just like that.
Um which led me to feel exhausted.
>> Mhm. Mhm.
Well, the flip side of it is I know how I feel when my insulin is.
Raised.
All the time and I do feel exhausted all the time.
A counter thought to that, and this is what it looks like, guys, when you coach another mindset coach, a counter thought.
To that would be, "At least I'm not as exhausted as I would be, you know, like >> if I broke the.
Diet." >> If I broke the diet.
Yeah.
There is a way of avoiding.
Real true physiological.
Exhaustion and that is.
>> so it kind >> I break the diet and I get crappy sleep and then I wake up the next day.
Not well rested because I'm all inflamed and >> Yes.
Yes. Yes.
So yeah, I think.
But then but then when I can go to.
Kind of aiming this.
This.
Spontaneity,.
This creativity,.
All those like strengths that it's like a an inverse of the adventurous.
Freedom.
>> If I were to aim this at something, a protocol if you will, or just kind of.
A strategy.
>> Yeah. um to approach.
This ketogenic diet that's very much like my own DNA blueprint.
Of how I'm going to approach this, which is also very highly motivating to me.
It's it's just a good reminder.
Yes.
And how cool is it that the Lord gave me this brain in this very unique way.
To.
To be efficient and creative.
With something.
That is valuable to me.
>> And there's your encourager showing up again.
Yes. >> I love it. I love it.
Here's what I'd love to do to kind of guide this protocol a little bit more and start getting practical.
Flip over to the ideal conditions because you already mentioned that it's kind of a trigger-rich environment end of the day and.
I get it like physiologically.
This stuff it's not just mindset there's real bodily fatigue that we start to feel at the end of the day.
>> so how do we how do we intentionally create some ideal conditions that make it easier to avoid those areas of.
Weakness and the triggers and stay in our contributions.
This case the adventurer the spontaneity the encourager.
Easier to even think of those mindsets that that you shared about, hey, at least I'm not going to be uh uh.
I'm going to invest in true true uh uh rest here or I'm going to avoid the real crappy feeling of fatigue.
>> What are some ideal conditions that you want to cultivate?
>> First, can I share an ideal thought that's been really helpful for me just on this journey.
>> that I was just reminded of?
But it's more it's an identity.
Belief and I don't fully believe it yet but I'm like working my way there.
It is.
I am a.
Ketogenic.
Chef.
I think I think it would be so cool to be a chef but like.
Because you get to just be really creative and there's so many things you can eat in the ketogenic diet that are.
Delicious.
>> I'm curious if we can take that thought.
And put that into go back in time and look at that time where you broke your habit, right?
>> If you think that thought, I'm I'm curious like how does that feel back in that situation?
Mhm. >> Um, it gives me a little bit of space >> little bit of space >> between acting out on it.
Here's how I would approach that.
I because I I do feel like there's still that rebellion that's like >> Okay.
Yeah. Because this is what I'm trying to if I could keep the coach hat on here.
All right. >> So, I'm wondering if that thought in that particular circumstance is going to be is going to be helpful.
Because I don't see putting your Keto Chef hat on at 9:00 at night and whipping something up.
>> It wasn't even 9:00 and it was like 6, but.
Uh yeah, that doesn't.
Really help.
Okay. So, it was the rebellion.
>> that was that was kind of what was going on.
Okay. So, so rebellion is always I'm going to be obedient to myself,.
Not to this.
>> commitment that I've had >> thing that I've committed to.
Yeah. >>.
Okay. >> So, so.
Um but the lie is that the rebellion is going to be.
Helping you in some sort. >> Yeah.
This this will comfort me. This will >> this will comfort me.
>> Yes. Yes. >> Okay. We're back to this is what we're seeking, the comfort, conserving the energy.
Yeah. >> What does real comfort look like in that situation?
If you're just counseling, even counseling somebody else, Aaron,.
Uh, in the same circumstance, how would you help them find real comfort,.
Lasting comfort? >> Gosh, this has been a question I've really been.
Trying to figure out the answer to.
I think it's I think what I.
What I am comforted by.
Is.
Let me just say this out loud because it's not fully.
Encapsulated yet, but it's like where my brain is going.
>> Mhm. Um,.
So one thing that's very motivating to me is.
When I stop eating at a certain time of night, and this is just part of the condition of insulin resistance,.
Um, my body.
Metabolizes the food better,.
And that means I get better sleep.
But also what happens is there's.
Your body does the work with little effort.
>> because it's >> deserves effort.
>> because it's doing what it was meant to do.
Mhm. And so I like shifting it to being like.
Kind of like to say like yes, I understand.
You are exhausted to kind of like accept it and be like kind to myself in that minute and be like I.
Understand that you're exhausted here.
But.
And and.
We'll say and.
Why don't we give your body all it needs to conserve that energy.
While you're sleeping and to actually like.
Put the least amount of effort forward and like still get the best results.
Does that make sense? >> Yeah.
I'm wondering if it's something along the lines of.
What if we made it very easy for our bo easier for easier for our body to comfort us.
>> Ooh, I love that. I'm going to write that down.
>> Okay. What if.
Uh we.
Made it.
Easier.
For.
My body.
To comfort us and I would say even like in function properly.
>> Sure. Okay.
How's that feel?
I like that.
>> because because it it reminds me of the why.
Okay. >> And I love maximizing my effort.
>> And if I can like.
>> release water.
And release like.
Weight and like.
Really lower my insulin.
While I sleep. Literally, this is what other people's bodies do,.
Not mine.
Um because of staying within this realm.
It's like.
Would be.
Amazing. >> Okay, we're going to play with one uh one part of that phrase here.
Okay, so so we have what if we made it easier for my body to to comfort us and function properly.
Wonderful. What does it feel like to say.
In this moment I choose.
>> to make it easier.
For my body to comfort me and function properly?
Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. And I also want to comfort my body too.
Like that's also been a really driving >> your encourager showing up there >> force.
Yeah. It's a driving source of just being like.
Like just like it's time to be kind to my body,.
>> you know, and like give it what it needs >> time to be kind.
>> to to function properly. Like it's just.
We've hit that time. So, >>.
Okay, >> it's like maybe my body's comforting me, but also like can we just like comfort everyone?
>> I love it. I love all that stuff.
Okay. So, we we kind of identified an an interior.
Ideal coni condition, right? Even a mindset that you can practice going into those moments.
>> Sorry, I never answered. >> Yeah, take a look at the ideal conditions list.
Is there anything else.
There.
>> that you might be able to cultivate?
Um, I think.
I really like looking at this as a creative project.
The whole thing like the ketosis like just making it into a creative product project.
The description is opportunities.
To use.
Our imagination and come up with new ideas but it's like in my particular case it would be like.
This ketosis journey is an opportunity.
For me to step in.
To my imagination.
And come up with new ideas.
Okay, >> that would be helpful.
>> I have an idea brewing.
Mind if I share it? Sure.
>> I wonder what it'd be like.
To gify this. >>.
Yes. >> And actually create.
Create I'm picturing like a a dice.
Mhm. >> A die. A what is it?
The single over there. A dye that.
Has food names on all six sides of it that are all within the keto diet.
>> Okay. And then.
You have to roll that thing and whatever you get, you roll it two times, three times, you have to create.
Your snack.
From what you get. >> Like my own chopped.
>> It's your own chopped.
>> It's your own chopped. >> It would have to be earlier in the day.
Okay. >> Like I'd have to like determine >>.
Why. >> Oh, because at the end of the day be like I don't want to put that much effort into making.
This thing. like if it landed on something.
Okay. >> I think also I'm just thinking of some of my other strengths, which is like adaptability and being in the.
Moment and and like it's actually okay if I'm like, "Oh, I'll just whip this up, you know?"
Mh. >>.
Um, so yeah, I think I would have to do it in the morning, but we could do that.
>> Okay, so creative projects is an ideal condition.
What else? >> Here's here's what I like to do.
I like to go, what are my favorite foods?
This is why the very first thing I ever learned how to make was keto pizza.
And it's like high protein, like no carbs, like just very low carbs.
>> The whole house smells like a big fart when she does it, though.
Because.
Not because we fart, but because.
But because it's it's all eggs.
It's all egg whites. >> Yeah, it's egg whites.
So, if you cook egg whites.
Without sugar, which is like mering.
Um >> it smells like a big fart in your house.
Just just let you know. But it's delicious pizza.
>> Conditions tell you that. >> It's delicious pizza crust that doesn't make you feel like garbage.
So, okay.
>> What I like is like the challenge of being like, "Oh, do you love chocolate cake,.
>> find a keto, like do some research or whatever, use CHBT,.
Like find some find a way to make it with these ingredients that you have in the house.
That actually is really motivating to me.
>> Yeah. You made me a carnivore.
Cake for my father's day recently >> and it was so delicious.
>> It was good. It was good.
Liked it. >> I think I'm going to make it again.
>> You're so creative.
>> Yeah. Okay. So,.
>> okay. So, there's some ideal conditions that you have.
So, bring bring it home. Is there any other actions?
Like those are those are starting to give you some clear action steps.
So.
>> it's um.
But but tell me what is what is the um >>.
There >> what does the commitment look like and being obedient.
>> what your body needs.
>> What is helpful is when I.
Go back.
To my why. I'm finding I go back to my why a lot.
This time around because.
If I don't, it turns into obligation,.
Which.
I will rebel against immediately.
I resist.
>> But if I go to my why and I and this is why doing a like journaling is so helpful because.
Then I can literally just read.
>> what I journaled on,.
You know, yesterday morning or whatever.
>> Okay. And it's kind of an easy step to take.
You just like when you're feeling like when I'm feeling a little restless at night, I mean like.
>> um I can just go back to my why and like.
Redecide.
>> so that's your action. Go back to my why.
>> What does that what does that look like practically?
>> Reading my journal. >> Reading your journal.
I have like dogeared pages of like.
>> of what you asked where it's like.
Six months from now you you're not following this and then.
>> and then like your why on the other side like.
Why is it helpful.
For you to stop eating past a certain time of night?
Why is it helpful for you to walk after you eat?
Why is it helpful? So, it's like these really clear steps that I'm taking.
>> Um, why each of them.
Physiologically.
Really, really helpful. >> Okay. All right.
So, that's the action going back literally reading the journal, reading those dogeyeared pages.
Is there a certain time that.
>> you're doing this? >> It would probably >> condition that you're doing this.
>> Yeah, it would probably be like in the evening.
Um, like even before dinner.
Mhm. >> Uh just to kind of like.
Have because I have like things circled just to go back and remember and write this one down too, the one that.
You gave me.
>> Um another thing I would do is create.
Some.
Sweet things.
>> that are like ketogenic and carnivore friendly.
When we say carnivore, obviously there's no sweets in that, but like keto allows for monk fruit and sweeteners.
Mhm. >> Um, so I would create those things and have them in the fridge,.
Actually have them ready to go.
So I'm not.
Responding to these things.
And then going outside of my.
My um normal >> your diet.
Yeah. >> Yeah. Diet. >> Great.
Okay. All right. So create some keto compliant things.
Um and then is so let me ask what winning looks like here.
Get clear. Does that mean that there's always a keto compliant snack that is available to you?
>> I mean, it would definitely be an ideal condition in certain cases.
>> Well, you you get to decide.
>> Yeah, I think so. >> Okay.
So, if you didn't have the keto compliant snack.
Mhm. >> is the mindset work, is the why enough to still keep you keeping you on the diet?
>> Yep. >>.
Okay. >> Okay. So the the mindset is always like the fall back.
>> but you're creating some ideal conditions here for having.
You know that keto compliant option in front of you in that moment where you're feeling tired and you don't want to.
Make something new. >> It's just very easy.
>> to be able to just make that you've made that decision ahead of time.
The and the days.
There are certain days that I just.
Am like I want something sweet.
Okay. >> And I I know it it's it was like a day like yesterday when it's just like.
Demanding a lot of mental energy.
Okay. >> And I know >> I ate that last piece of keto cake.
>> My positivity.
And Yes. And that may have been why I ate the others.
I was like >> you left it for me.
He said it yesterday. He's like, "I left this for now."
>> I know. And you didn't eat it.
And I was like, "Maybe I'll have.
>> I ate it right in front of you."
I was just like,.
>> and you were like, "It's kind of okay.
>> Too sweet. >> Maybe a little less monk fruit last next time."
>> And I'm like, "Screw you.
>> I go off my diet."
>> Oh, that's great. >> No, I'm just kidding.
>> Hey, one last thing. I invite you to turn to the motivations.
Section of our of our become book here.
Okay. >> So, we got some actions.
It's that that going back to the why.
And so, literally the action of going back reading through the journal >> that's there.
>> Um I'm wondering is it.
>> this is this is just me in my discipline knowing this is more my ideal conditions.
You don't have to say this so I don't want to project.
Is it helpful to have the journal even.
Positioned next to the pantry.
>> for ease of access? >> That is helpful.
Yeah. >> Okay. >> I think that's good.
Okay. >> All right. Your husband can even build a little cubby.
>> Oh, that's you can store your >> journal.
That's good because I need it in the morning and I hate going back in and out of the room.
Um >> that's why I get five stars.
Yeah. >> For service here. Okay.
Um, so.
Going back to the why, creating some keto.
Uh compliant.
Or keto fun snacks, some keto snacks.
Is there a motivation there on on your list.
That you'd like to meet lean into.
To,.
You know, get excited about creating those keto snacks?
>> Yeah. I mean, it's it's like the theme,.
But it's like just be creative.
>> Be creative. Yeah. Um.
Also just.
Create a venture meaning try new things like explore kind of new options.
>> that's helpful.
Also.
Stay hopeful.
And what I mean by that is.
Think about.
How.
My body is going to benefit.
Think about how I'm going to feel in the morning which is like.
>> there is no amount of food that makes me.
Feel better than what I would feel like in the morning.
That's.
Yeah. >> If I if I weren't to eat it.
Yeah. So, that's kind of Yeah.
>> Here's another thing where we can partner.
So, I I've got my high discipline and and things like that.
And I I do I do the meal planning for for the house.
So, so would it be helpful.
For because I'm always looking to the future.
Would it be helpful for me to say.
To as as like a reminder, hey, is there anything.
That you want to.
Do you want to make some snacks for the future or something like that or just kind of remind you?
>> Yeah, that'd be helpful. >> Okay.
All right. So, that's something I I can commit to in helping.
>> So, another weakness is be you're forgetful.
So, >> body doubling or something.
You got ADHD, which doesn't help.
So, like we're body doubling and that Yeah.
The the medicine's wearing off by.
>> 6 p.m. >> That's it.
I know when that medicine's wearing off.
>> That is it. >> Anyways, okay.
Hey, has uh has this helped?
Yeah. >> Okay. We got some actions.
We got some motivations. We're going to stay creative.
We're going to make some keto snacks.
>> Yes. >> We're going to I'm going to make a little cubby for your journal.
Yes. >> But in the meantime, while I'm.
Thinking about how I'm going to do that, >> I'm going to put the journal right there next to the bowl next.
To the pantry.
>> Yes. Yep. >>.
Great. >> Yep. I'm just processing some things.
Yeah, it was great. Um, I really think the whole.
Kind of the big philosophical.
Like why are we even doing this again?
And like going back to that.
Time and time and time again like that never gets old.
I just I want to say that to everybody.
I feel like when I coach people, it's just it's always a great thing to like remember.
>> Return to the why. >>.
Yeah. >> Okay. And you're getting that.
Yeah. You're getting that with your journal.
You're returning to the why. >> Yes.
Yes. Yes. Yes. >>.
Beautiful. >> Beautiful. >> Awesome. >> Thanks, Matt.
>> You bet. >> And scene.
Scene. >> No, just kidding. We were not acting this entire time.
That was very real. So, >> it was good.
>> Very helpful.
>> That helped me to.
It's nice being a coach and being able to do this with your spouse cuz I just I'm excited that I found.
Some new works of service that I could do, my love language.
Yes. >> To uh take in.
And I like how you use the ideal conditions and the motivations.
Yeah, that was cool. So >> even the contributions like the inverse converse that's really helpful cuz that helpful >> it starts.
To pile on on like okay this is where you're showing up in this weakness but like let's look at the opportunity.
Cost here >> of like your strengths that you're abdicating in that moment.
>> You're abdicating or you're just using too much of and like it just you need to chill out.
>> It's indulgent. It's no longer fruitful.
>> Great. Well, folks, we hope this has been helpful for you, especially if you've gone through a certification, start to actually.
Kind of follow along this this script a little bit and and again, you've got the tools to be able to run.

Fire for integrating Ignite. >> Absolutely.
